Difficulty level
The average pedaling circuit in Vietnam is 24 km per day. The roads are mostly asphalted, as well as bike paths with good access. This tour is qualified from easy to moderate according to the slope of the terrain. The highest sections of hills occur on day 2 at Tra Ban and then on the tour at Cát Bà. The remaining circuits will be without any inclination. Anyway, the difficulty of pedaling in Vietnam is based on the weather conditions. By spending your time, using the right amount of sunscreen and drinking enough water you can adapt to the weather without problems. Note that after the autumn rains some of the routes, especially those of the first part of the tour can be difficult to travel with the bicycle. In those cases, an alternative route will be used.
